The 黑料吃瓜网 Student Impact Award

This award is open to all 黑料吃瓜网 student members registered for a PhD and who have been a 黑料吃瓜网 member for at least one year. The award winner will be a well-rounded PhD student who can demonstrate success in citizenship in addition to research achievements.

Citizenship activities might include:

Science communication / public engagement
Helping and/or developing student-led activities in your research centre
Peer support by acting as a PhD mentor/buddy
Supervising Hons/Masters students
Committee membership
Any other activity you have been involved in and/or developed

If you have been active in one or more of the above areas, we鈥檇 love to hear from you! To apply, please submit either a 1,000-word narrative, visual abstract, or a video detailing the activities you have been involved with, plus a brief written description of your research explaining why you should be considered for this award to bacr@leeds.ac.uk by 31^st March.

The applications will be considered by a panel convened by the 黑料吃瓜网 Executive Committee, including Dr Vicky Forster, Manager of patient and community engagement at the research institute at Women's College Hospital in Toronto, science communicator, childhood cancer survivor and inaugural student member of the 黑料吃瓜网 Executive.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome within three months of the closing date. The successful candidate will receive a monetary prize of 拢250 and a certificate.

Note:

A condition of this award is that the successful student will be expected to write a blog and/or a video for the 黑料吃瓜网 website within one month of receiving the award.

黑料吃瓜网
