SAVE THE DATE - Trailblazers in Cancer Research

Trailblazers is organised by and for ���ϳԹ���'s Early Career Researchers. It is aimed at  post-docs with <5 years of experience and late stage PhD students, who are members the ���ϳԹ���. The aim is to bring together the ���ϳԹ��� early career community to share their research, network and to hear from internationally renowned invited speakers working in cancer research and associated career paths. 

Attending ECRs will present a talks and/or posters under one of 4 broad scientific sessions: • Cell Signalling & the Tumour Microenvironment • Cancer Omics • Emerging Approaches in Cancer Treatment • Lifestyle, Nutrition & Cancer.  Our programme also includes how to incorporate Patient Public Involvement (PPI) in your research and a “Careers Panel Session” to discuss various career routes. This is a valuable career development and networking opportunity for ECRs, and we appeal to PIs and Group Leaders to support and encourage their ECRs to participate in this conference. Abstract submission is a prerequisite for attendance, to ensure ECRs gain maximum benefit from attending.

This event will take place in Manchesters Pendulum Hotel on the 26th and 27th of November, 2026.
